Yu Baan Eatery — where your dog gets a seat at the table

Yu Baan Eatery, a dog-friendly restaurant in Ari, is the kind of place that feels like eating at a friend’s home. It’s small, warm, and genuinely welcoming. And when we say pet-friendly, we mean it. Dogs are welcome indoors and can actually sit with you at the table. So there’s no worrying about your pup overheating outside.
A beef-forward fusion menu
The food is fusion done right. It blends international dishes with Thai flavors seamlessly. The menu leans into beef, and the Beef Fat Fried Rice is the signature here. It’s actually the dish that started the whole restaurant. Another standout for beef lovers is the Braised Beef Shank Soup with Potatoes. It delivers bold, punchy flavors — trust us, it’s worth ordering. To start, you can’t go wrong with the Crispy Wontons wrapped in egg. The kitchen serves them with a plum-
tamarind dipping sauce that ties everything together beautifully. The Mixed Berry Rocket Salad and BBQ Pork Rib Nachos also make excellent openers.
A genuine welcome for dogs of any size
Dogs of any size can join you here — the owner is a serious animal lover. On some days, you might even meet the restaurant’s four resident dachshunds. They basically serve as the house mascots. The team just asks a few simple things. Keep pups on leash, and help keep things tidy while you’re there. If your dog is not pot trained, a diaper is always appreciated. There’s also a small selection of dog treats and ice cream available in-house. So your pup won’t be left out of the fun.
Getting there and where to park
Getting there is easy by BTS plus a Muvmi ride, or a quick motorbike taxi. If you’re driving, during the day you can park in the lot across the street at Flat Iron (20 baht per hour). Alternatively, you can park along the road following the odd/even date rule. On even dates, park opposite the restaurant. On odd dates, park on the same side. Importantly, make sure your car faces the correct direction per traffic rules. In the evenings, Flat Iron fills up quickly. So AIS Tower or ESV Tower are your better bets.
