If your household runs on spicy, punchy food, this one is for you. Khao Niao is a dog-friendly Isaan restaurant in Ari where the flavors actually deliver — and let’s be honest, finding a good, properly saep place these days is harder than it should be. But this one is the real deal.

Bringing Your Dog
The restaurant welcomes everyone: small dogs, big dogs, cats, birds — all are allowed in the outdoor area. Evenings are the sweet spot to avoid the heat, but the team has oversized fans aimed at the four-legged guests, chilled drinking water on hand, and even ice cream for dogs on the menu. There’s a small garden inside the venue where the pups can run around — though parents are asked to keep a close eye on them and help keep the space clean.

What to Order
A few dishes you really shouldn’t skip: the juicy grilled pork neck, the boneless chicken stir-fried with chili and garlic, and the tam Luang Prabang — deeply, seriously flavorful.
The Café Side: ONDA
Here’s something most people don’t realize: the same venue also runs as a café. It’s called ONDA Cafe, and its signature drink is the Cloudy Spirulina — a blend built around spirulina, banana, pineapple, and avocado. Genuinely cool stuff.

Events and Workshops
The space is unusually large by Ari standards, which means it works beautifully for events, birthday parties, and small gatherings — and yes, dog workshops too. The team takes bookings.
Getting There
There’s parking for up to 21 cars, so bringing the four-legged crew is easy. By BTS, get off at Ari station and finish the trip with a motorbike taxi or a Muvmi.
