24-Hour Emergency Vets in Bangkok

Where to Go When It Can’t Wait Until Morning

Update :

It’s 3am and something is wrong. Your dog is breathing hard, or won’t stand, or got into something under the sink. Your regular clinic closed hours ago, and searching “24 hour vet near me” gives you a mix of old listings, branches that have since changed their hours, and numbers that ring out.

That’s not the moment to be working out where to go. So we called every 24-hour vet in Bangkok we could find and confirmed, directly, that each one takes emergencies for dogs around the clock. We did this in October 2026. There are 16 animal hospitals on the list, grouped below by area, with the number to call on the way.

What to do on the way to an emergency vet

1

Call ahead

Tell them what happened so the team is ready when you arrive.

2

Go to the nearest one

Every hospital on this list takes walk-in emergencies around the clock. Distance matters more than anything else at night.

3

Expect an after-hours fee

Some hospitals add a night surcharge on top of treatment. Utmost adds 300 THB after 21:00 and Phyathai 7 adds 300 THB after 22:00.

4

Check the branch, not just the name

Not every branch of a hospital group is open 24 hours. Arak, for example, is only open overnight at Langsuan and Thonglor.

A thank you

Frequently asked questions

Is there a 24-hour vet in Bangkok?

Yes. At least 16 animal hospitals in Bangkok take dog emergencies around the clock, from CUVET near Siam to branches in Sukhumvit, Sathon, Ari, Rama 9, Bang Na, Thonburi and Rama 2. Every hospital in this guide confirmed its 24-hour emergency access directly with Pup Cities in October 2026.

Where is the nearest 24-hour vet in Sukhumvit?

There are four on or near Sukhumvit: Arak Animal Hospital – Thonglor (02-106-9977), Happy Pet Hospital on Sukhumvit 30/1 (098-886-0687), Thonglor Pet Hospital – Asoke on Sukhumvit 31 (02-079-9919) and, further east, Thonglor Pet Hospital – Srinakarin (02-079-9981).

Do I need an appointment for an emergency vet at night?

No. Every hospital on this list takes walk-in emergencies 24 hours a day. Calling ahead is still worth it, so the team can prepare before you arrive.

How much does an emergency vet cost at night in Bangkok?

It depends on the hospital and the treatment. Some add an after-hours fee on top of treatment costs: Utmost Pet Hospital adds 300 THB after 21:00 and Phyathai 7 adds 300 THB after 22:00. Ask when you call.

Can 24-hour vets in Bangkok do emergency surgery at night?

Most on this list can, but not all. Phyathai 7 Animal Hospital (Ari and Bangna) gives emergency care overnight, but emergency surgery is not available at night. If you think your dog may need surgery, mention it when you call.

Is every Arak Animal Hospital branch open 24 hours?

No. Only the Langsuan (Chit Lom) and Thonglor branches of Arak are open around the clock.

What are the signs my dog needs an emergency vet?

Laboured breathing, bleeding that won’t stop, being unable to urinate, blood in urine or stool, heatstroke, seizures, suspected poisoning, and unconsciousness or collapse. If you see any of these, go now.

Nobody wants to use this list. But if the night comes, you’ll already know where to go and who to call, and that saves time when it counts. Save it, share it with someone who has a dog, and if a hospital near you is missing, tell us in the comments.
